The objective of industrial wastewater treatment is shifting radically, from the mere prevention of pollution in neighboring areas to conservation and protection of the global environment. Responding swiftly to these trends, Organo has accumulated an impressive history of supporting wastewater treatment across all industries. Using advanced treatment technologies such as biological and physiochemical treatment methods, Organo develops treatment systems that are geared to different quantities and qualities of wastewater. In has also earned high marks for its wastewater recovery and reuse systems.
The reaction tank is filled with carriers, which hold large quantities of bacteria (biological sludge) on their surfaces and in between them, enabling the system to remove BOD/COD substances from the wastewater.
Unlike conventional models, this system does not require any polymer to be injected to increase the floc particle diameter and density. This results in a decrease in the polymer injection amount of around 50%. The supply volume of sedimentation promoter is very limited at 1-5 mg/l of untreated water. Coupled with the reduction of polymer consumption, a reduction in total running costs can be achieved.
It alternates between aerobic and anaerobic treatment and performs nitrate removal using nitrifying bacteria, denitrifying bacteria and oxidizing bacteria.
