Organo has developed a unique N-Methyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP) refining and recycling system using the membrane separation method. The system enables purification of NMP solvent to a reusable quality, more efficiently and at lower cost than conventional equipment. Large volumes of NMP solvent are used to manufacture cathode materials in lithium-ion batteries.
