Organo has established Regulations on the Management of Competitive and Other Funding and a Basic Policy on the Prevention of Fraud in Competitive and Other Funding to ensure the proper management of such funding and to respond appropriately in cases of misconduct.
1. Basic Policy on Preventing Misconduct Related to Competitive Grants
Based on the Guidelines (Implementation Standards) for Managing and Auditing Public Research Funds at Research Institutions (established by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology in February 2007 and revised in February 2014), we have established a Basic Policy on Preventing Misconduct Related to Competitive Grants.

We have established a contact point for reports and consultations regarding misconduct related to competitive and other funding.
Reports and consultations can be submitted in writing, by fax, by email, or in person.

For Reports and Consultations
- Please provide your name and contact information when reporting or seeking consultation, as we may need your cooperation during an investigation or wish to share investigation results with you. Personal information, such as the reporter's or consultant's name, will be used only within the scope necessary for investigations related to the matter—including handling under the Guidelines (Implementation Standards) for Managing and Auditing Public Research Funds at Research Institutions (established by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology in February 2007, revised in February 2014), and reporting to the ministries, agencies, and incorporated administrative agencies that allocate competitive and other funding—and will not be used for any other purpose.
- We will decide whether to accept anonymous reports or consultations on a case-by-case basis. Please note that even when accepted, we may be unable to provide investigation results or report on measures taken to prevent recurrence.
- When contacting us for reporting or consultation, please provide the name of the person or organization alleged to have committed the misconduct, the details of the misconduct, and the reasons for considering it misconduct.
- If our investigation reveals that the report was made with malicious intent—that is, solely to cause harm to the accused or to the organization to which the accused belongs, such as by entrapping the accused or obstructing their research—we may publicly disclose the reporter's name or file criminal charges.
4. Contact Point for Inquiries Regarding Rules for the Use of Competitive and Other Funding
We have established a contact point to receive inquiries from both inside and outside the company regarding the rules for using competitive and other funding.
